OWNERSHIP

SuchWork is a privately held company. Detailed ownership information is available upon request for transparency purposes.

CONTENT INTEGRITY POLICY

SuchWork is committed to accurate, independent, ethical, and practical career guidance. We provide advice fairly; we attribute sources clearly; we correct mistakes transparently. Our editorial policies and processes are designed to support these values, and we are open about them.

All contributors for SuchWork must identify themselves clearly. They must never misrepresent themselves to obtain information.

No SuchWork contributor can accept remuneration of any kind in exchange for featuring specific companies or products. Contributors must not cover any company, industry, or issue in which they have a financial interest without clear disclosure.

SuchWork’s content team operates in service of our readers, with complete editorial independence from the management of the company.

FACT-CHECKING

SuchWork contributors have responsibility for checking the facts of their articles.

They should verify dates, spelling of names, titles, statistics, and company information. They should also verify any superlatives—i.e., is this truly the best practice, the most effective method, or the highest-rated company?

Examples of sources used for fact-checking include industry experts, HR professionals, career coaches, verified company information, official statements, verified reports, and authoritative reference materials.

SuchWork contributors should evaluate not only the source of any information but also how likely that source is to be accurate and what biases might influence the information.

All SuchWork content is reviewed by editors before publication, and these editors will also check facts as needed.

ATTRIBUTION

SuchWork clearly attributes content to its creators. Bylines are used for all articles to establish accountability and expertise.

Only in rare cases, such as when a contributor shares sensitive workplace insights that could jeopardize their employment, would we consider anonymous authorship. Such decisions require editorial approval.

INFORMATION SOURCES

SuchWork sourcing must always be clear and should be as comprehensive as possible.

We rely on credible sources including career experts, HR professionals, workplace studies, and reputable publications. Anonymous sources are used sparingly and only when necessary to share important workplace insights that couldn’t otherwise be obtained.

We are always specific about the qualifications and expertise of sources used in articles, particularly when providing career or workplace advice.

SuchWork does not pay sources for information.

BALANCE AND FAIRNESS

We present multiple perspectives on workplace issues, recognizing that different industries, company sizes, and individual circumstances affect how advice applies.

When reporting on workplace disputes or controversies, we seek comment from all relevant parties.

Even when a party does not comment, SuchWork strives to include that perspective.

Context is included to help readers understand workplace situations, without bias toward employers or employees.

SuchWork contributors should be clear about what they know, what they don’t know, and what information is open to debate in workplace matters.

Data and evidence about workplace trends should be weighed impartially, and SuchWork strives to present diverse perspectives even when they conflict with contributors’ personal views.

CORRECTIONS

Any errors of fact must be corrected promptly and transparently. All corrected content is clearly marked as such.

Anyone who contacts us about a possible error in our content will receive fair consideration.

If SuchWork needs to retract content that is fundamentally flawed, we do so transparently. We do not unpublish or “disappear” problematic content.

We do not remove articles that were correct at the time of publication, but we may update them with new information and note such updates.

A list of significant corrections is maintained on our website.

CONTENT STANDARDS

In general, we maintain professional language appropriate for workplace discussions. Profanity is avoided except when directly quoting relevant sources.

We avoid publishing content that could be offensive or inappropriate in a professional context.

We never use slurs or degrading language about any group.

We strive to use inclusive language in all workplace discussions.

PLAGIARISM AND ORIGINALITY

SuchWork has a zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism and fabrication. Violation of this policy will be considered a gross misconduct offense.

Fabrication of information, advice, or experiences is unacceptable. All content must be original or properly credited.

It is not acceptable to make minor modifications to another publication’s wording or to duplicate its content structure. Writers must produce content with original phrasing and structure and with additional information and context.

On the rare occasion when we can’t independently verify important workplace information that another publication has reported, we credit the fact to that publication.

SENSITIVE TOPICS

SuchWork is careful in its coverage of sensitive workplace issues, including discrimination, harassment, layoffs, and mental health challenges.

We provide balanced information about workplace conflicts, avoiding sensationalism.

We show particular sensitivity when discussing workplace trauma, burnout, or harassment.

SuchWork adheres to responsible practices when covering mental health in the workplace. We do not oversimplify complex mental health issues or suggest quick fixes for serious conditions.

When discussing workplace mental health challenges, we include appropriate resources for seeking professional help.

RESEARCH STANDARDS

In general, SuchWork bases workplace advice on established best practices and diverse sources rather than single studies.

When reporting on workplace research or trends, we put studies into proper context, explaining methodology and limitations.

Contributors must be clear about whether what they’re writing about is a peer-reviewed study, an opinion piece, or a review of literature.

We distinguish between correlation and causation in workplace research, and we put statistics in their proper context.

LEGAL INFORMATION

When writing about employment law, workplace regulations, or legal rights, we are as specific and complete as possible.

We clearly distinguish between legal requirements and best practices.

We include appropriate disclaimers that our content does not constitute legal advice, especially for complex employment situations.

We recommend consulting with qualified professionals for specific legal guidance.

SuchWork recognizes that social media provides unique opportunities for staff to engage with readers and share workplace insights.

SuchWork contributors must be aware that personal social media accounts may impact how readers perceive our content’s objectivity.

All social media engagements by team members must be respectful and civil, avoiding language that could undermine SuchWork’s credibility as a workplace resource.
